We are actively seeking candidates for a Quality Technician role on 1st shift at our Deer Creek , MN location. Hours for this daytime opportunity are 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed. Compensation for this long-term position depending on skills and experience. What you'll do as the Quality Technician: Daily internal testing or customer required testing. Monitor quality on and off the production lines. Perform tasks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. Inspect parts coming in from our suppliers for any defects. Perform and document Layered Process Auditing Daily data paqs Able to answer quality questions for floor employees or find correct answers Perform any supplier or customer internal sorts as directed Completes additional duties as required What you need to become the Quality Technician: High School Diploma or equivalent. Attention to detail. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and production floor database. Understand customer standards and prints along with IFS internal specifications. Must be on time and ready to work. Ability to understand, follow, and issue both written and verbal instructions. Ability to remain calm under pressure. This person will perform majority of work in a shop floor environment with noise and other related interruptions. There will also be some moderate lifting required, possibly up to 50 pounds.
