The Quality Lab Tech will perform tests of incoming raw materials and in-process testing for the manufacturing operation of Malarkey Roofing Products under supervision to ensure that they meet quality standards. Essential Functions Include: Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment. Audits manufacturing processes. Performs chemical and physical property tests under supervision. Inspects finished products and partner with manufacturing to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards. Performs data entry on multiple platforms (SQC, Access, Excel). Communicates with production operators and leaders. Knowledge, Education, and Experience AS/BS Degree in a scientific or technical field; OR HS Diploma/GED with previous technical or manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, flexibility in work schedule, and the ability to work overtime. Must be reliable, work in a team setting, maintain a positive attitude, and remain calm in stressful situations.
