AREA OF ACCOUNTABILITYResponsible for the activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished assemblies or components.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES* Assist manufacturing in start-up of new processes (PPAP's) as well as necessary PPAP's associated with equipment moves, process changes, design changes, etc.* Demonstrate understanding of AQP documentation, revisions, and necessarily follow up.* Support and demonstrate understanding of the importance and significance of timely yet accurate updates for process changes.* Demonstrate effective team skills through participation and facilitation in team activities.* Perform effective IATF 16949 audits as a trained and experienced lead auditor. Conduct audits of the Quality Management System elements per established procedures and report audit results to quality management. * Have primary responsibility for EP&T install, maintenance, implementation, training, and process planning. Leads and facilitates all EP&T processes and efforts for the plant.* Support production operations to achieve safety, quality, and production KPI's.* Lead development of PFMEA's, control plans, and test/inspection procedures to identify and eliminate risks associated with our products and processes.* Lead cross-functional problem-solving teams to drive product and process improvements that help achieve and improve internal and external customer satisfaction, reduce nonconformities and scrap, improve first pass yield. * Facilitate issue resolution including root cause investigation and the development, implementation, and validation of effective corrective and preventive actions.* Support capability analysis to investigate and drive improvements of production processes to meet defined requirements.* Self-starter who seeks opportunities to improve processes, part quality, and overall efficiency.
