JOB : Quality Engineer LOCATION : Datchet TERM: Permanent SALARY: GBP 35,000 : GBP 48,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Datchetarea with experience in the manufacturing industry. Your main duties will be assisting with the day: to: day activities of the Quality engineering team. We are considering Quality Engineers of all levels for this position, The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : 2 years' experience or more in a similar Quality Engineer position. : Knowledge of various Quality Engineering tools : Understanding of either ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949 or ISO13485 standards. : Familiar with inspection tools and processes. : Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written : Familiarity with the auditing process. : Excellent organizational and planning skills. : Ability to work independently. : Experience with dealing with assembly or mechanical manufacturing processes : beneficial. The Quality Engineer role will involve: : Assisting the Quality Management team with Auditing processes. : Monitor manufacturing to ensure products are conforming to regulations. : Liaising with suppliers to address quality issues of inbound goods. : Undertaking continuous improvement activities. : Support the manufacturing departments with corrective actions.
