JOB : Quality Control Inspector LOCATION : Dorset TERM: Permanent SALARY: GBP 30,000 : GBP 50,000 per annuum. A brand: new chance has presented itself to work for a renowned manufacturing / engineering company. A great company, the UK's largest in their field is looking for a Quality Control Engineer. Due to the companys ongoing growth and expansion, this is a great opportunity and a brand: new role. This will be on a shift pattern and does come with opportunities of progression. Ideally the Quality Control Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: - Previous experience in a Quality Inspection, inspector or similar role. - Experience of using various inspection tools and techniques (verniers, micrometers, depth gauges etc. ) - Able to perform at a high quality and standard. - Basic PC skills (Word, Excel etc). - Good time management skills - The ability to work well under pressure. - Abel to work in a team and independently. - Attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Exposure to FAIR's : advantageous but not needed. What the Quality Control Engineer role will involve: - Carry out inspection of various manufactured components and products. - Assist in calibration of Inspection equipment. - Liaise with other members of the Quality Engineering team to improve quality within the business. - Using various gauging and measurement instruments to ensure products are manufactured correctly. - Maintain and upkeep the inspection documentation for the manufacturing department. - Take ownership of inspection activities throughout production.
