We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor for one of our largest clients who specialize in beverage manufacturing.-- This role is located in Houston, TX.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to : Maintain quality assurance programs in compliance with all state, Federal, and company guidelines for a 3 line manufacturing facilityMonitor and document all quality assurance activitiesAssist in conducting internal audits and training of implementation of audit procedures to subordinates/direct reports.Oversee and assist in the implementation of corrective action plans to ensure timely resolution of non-compliance issuesTrain and manage a team of 3 QA Technicians and 1 MicrobiologistWork closely with the production and management team to continuously improve quality processesThis is a DAY SHIFT position Monday - Friday (7am-4:30pm). It is required to work one (1) night shift per month and an occasional Saturday for micro testing.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for growth and development, coupled with a great benefit package and relocation assistance available to interested candidates coming from any location in the United States.Qualifications :3+ years of experience in a quality assurance role within food or beverage manufacturing.Strong knowledge of SQF and HACCP guidelines.TCQ background a PLUSAbility to lead, train and manage a team.Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skills.A degree in food science, microbiology or related field (Preferred but not required in lieu of experience.)
