Quality Assurance Intern

Internship Dates: 6/17/24 - 8/30/24 (flexible) Dates/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Deadline to apply is 4/26/24.Principal Duties and Responsibilities1. Adherence and monitor Quality and Food Safety programs. 2. Assist with pre-operations inspections of production plant equipment. 3. Assist with quality related projects. Job Skills 1. Basic knowledge of GMP's, Food Safety and Safety requirements preferred. 2. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). 3. HACCP training preferred. 4. Basic math and technical writing skills preferred. 5. Requires ability to read, write and speak English. Working Conditions1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25--F to 110--F.3. Lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs.4.
