PURPOSE STATEMENT The Quality Assurance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that products produced meet customer specifications and company quality standards, in addition to recommending improvements in manufacturing, quality, and sanitation practices. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Localizes all projects in SAP/PLMBOM, formula, premix, & P-BOM for Speed to Market process that includes plant trial, PreCommEx, PreComm, & operationalLocalizes MFG/SPEC specifications for plant trial, PreCommEx, PreComm, & operational statusPartners with R&D, packaging, regulatory, & compliance/graphicsConfirm labels are available and approve labels in Optiva (right formula/right label policy)SAP SuperuserConfirm SAP interfaced properly (if not know who to contact)Creator of Shells/Production Versions in SAP for new BOM's, P-BOM's, formulas, premixes, & phantomsMake modifications/changes in SAP when neededEnsure accuracy of product set-upsMaintain new product codes and existing product codes in IQSUpdate production tech boards for the mixersMaintain Spec Book with accurate internal specs that are linked to the QA paperwork and online quality paperworkMaintain Hold Book for new product codesMaintain and update the blend sheets for new and/or existing premixesMaintain and update the mixer Sheets for new and/or existing formulasNotify accounting, schedulers, planners, production, receiving, and QA for changes and/or updates to BOM's, formulas, premixes, & boxesPerform bill of material audits and report resultsInvestigate and resolve variances and discrepanciesPerforms extra projects delegated by the QA Manager.Provides administrative duties to include, filing documentation, faxing, distributing correspondence, etc.Assists in mock recalls and BRC related projectsAssists in R&D plant trial processUpdates SAP/PLM training book as neededMust be able to assimilate new software, procedures and techniques as they are constantly introduced into this environmentPerforms other related responsibilities, as needed, to support Rich Products Corporation's business objectivesServes as a support resource for other departmentsAttends weekly crew meetings and monthly communications meetingsAssist other Rich Product locations if needed for Optiva or SAP guidance/help Food Safety Responsibilities Follow all GMP's, food safety, and quality policiesReport all food safety incidents such as GMP violations, ingredient and product contamination, metal detector, screen, or magnet deficiencies, glass breakage, and pest harborageMonitor product quality and food safety throughout all stages of production, recording such results as required, and reporting deficiencies to SupervisionRecord accurate and legible results on documentationProvide adequate housekeeping at all times KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Associate degree in Business or related field is required. If a degree is in the process of completed, a combination of education, training,and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.2 to 5 years of experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing industry.Must be able to learn and use various software programs including SAP /PLM and QDMS,Must be able to learn product formulationsDemonstrated ability to plan, direct, coach, and train Associates. Must monitor work.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsCandidate must have solid PC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointMust be able to handle multiple assignments concurrently and be able to function in a fast-paced environmentAbility to follow both written and verbal instructionsGood communication skillsExcellent attendanceGood problem-solving skillsAbility to interface with multiple levels within the organizationAbility to maintain focus on assigned tasks despite constant interruptions#LI-SS1#earlycareers#CORP123 COMPENSATION In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
