The selected candidate will perform the following: Position Overview: The HMC Quality Analyst team monitors program production and testing activities processes to ensure the mission success of the program and works with the various teams to promote continuous improvements. Our team is exceptionally detail oriented. Each team member has individual program assignments, but we work as a united team to identify and resolve potential issues before timelines are impacted. Role and Responsibilities: Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customer, and program personnel to ensure requirements are met. Investigate problems, establish disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Recommend corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications to processes. Create and disposition NCs and QNs Review/approval production routers Assure compliance in quality protocols in accordance with contractual requirements and NG policies. Participate in program audits and weekly meetings. Communicate openly and effectively with teammates and customer representatives. Demonstrate problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment. Witness testing activities Review/approval production router The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels of the organization. Basic Qualifications: Must have 7 years of related work experience in lieu of degree. Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related work experience or a Master's Degree and 1 years of related work experience. Ability to work flexible or extended hours. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills who can work with minimal direction. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DOD Secret Security Clearance Experience in developing, collecting, and analyzing metrics. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Experience with nonconformance and Corrective Action Processes Collaborates with manufacturing, Engineering, and Program functions to ensure quality standards are being met. Experience in production floor environment pertaining to quality protocols. Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings. Must be able to work on-site in Madison, Alabama Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a liaison to engineering, production, and program personnel. Proficiency in writing and following detailed procedures. Experience in an ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System Environment Demonstrate ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment. Demonstrate problem solving skills in a manufacturing environment implementing solutions to complicated technical issues. Experience in production floor environment pertaining to quality. Experience in SAP and MES systems Experience in Defense Industry pertaining to manufacturing activities. Salary Range: $61,900 - $92,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
