Quality Assurance Technician As a Quality Assurance Technician you will test various raw-side ingredients, in-process samples and finished products for quality and standardization purposes. What you'll do: Test various raw-side ingredients, in-process samples and finished products for quality and standardization purposes Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation of laboratory and all its equipmentCommunicate any and all quality related issues with appropriate management personnelComplete, accurate, organized, test data for easy access and investigationProvide backup vacation relief including weekends and holidaysWork as a team player, including other department personnel What you need to succeed: An associate degree is required (food/science based is preferred), or the equivalent of a laboratory certification program or 2 years of dairy laboratory experience required.Ability or aptitude to learn, to operate various pieces of lab equipment which includes: C.E.M. unit, Milligram Scales, Microscope, Centrifuges, pH Meter, Titration Equipment, etc.Ability to operate computer programs (to include Microsoft Office and Schreiber specific systems.)Satisfactory attendance record and required to be on-time to work.
