Position: QA Software Engineer, Principal Job Site: 120 Holger Way, San Jose, CA 95134Wage Range: $226,325-$236,325 per year Job Duties:Design and execute software test plans for Zscaler's cloud logging and reporting platform to identify software problems and their causes. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Document software and application defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software or web developers. As part of the Cloud Quality and Reliability team, execute cross functional and system testing of the Zscaler Security Solutions. Contribute, lead, and expand on automation coverage and infrastructure to improve the quality and efficiency of testing. Write system and solution test plan for the Zscaler cloud security feature and system specific requirements. Responsible for recreating the customer found defects in the Lab environment. Automate test cases using Perl/Python. Work on testing complex features like Zscaler SSL, Load balancer, Application Firewall and SSL Modules. Contribute to engineering efforts to solve complex engineering problems in testing and tools. Work on customer issues recreation in the Zscaler QA lab environment. Design, develop, and extend the automated testing frameworks. Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field followed by 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation. Special Requirements: Position requires at least 6 years of experience in each of the following skills:1) Knowledge of Protocols TCP/IP, 2) Experience with Load balancing and Virtual Networks.3) Experience on debugging tools like Wireshark, Packet Analysis and tcpdump.4) Experience in C or Python Code and Scripting.5) Experience in High Availability Distributed Systems 6) Experience in High Performance Systems. Position also requires at least 4 years of experience in each of the following skills:7) Experience with Application Firewall , SSL.8) Experience with Cloud Environments like AWS/Azure.9) Knowledge of Solution and System testing.
