To apply click the link below PV Construction Managers (paycomonline.net) Purpose: The Construction Manager is responsible for the execution, overall administrative andtechnical direction for a construction project. Additionally, Construction Manager to be responsiblefor the implementation and adherence to all Safety or Quality policies and procedures. Lead thedevelopment and implementation of craft work packaging. As well as responsible for thecomprehensive implementation, coordination, and execution of all subcontracts for theconstruction of a facility.Level Description: (Entry, Mid, Senior) Level of position will be determined by Director of Construction andwill be based on previous position experience, exhibited knowledge, leadership skills, tenure in company,track record of success, among other factors that are deemed appropriate by the Director of Construction.Additional Compensation: Per Diem will be included in pay and determined on a project by project basis.Trips home and a company truck will be provided; when applicable. (This information will be furtherexplained in the Samuel EPC Employee Exempt Handbook)Pay rates: Salary rate will not escalate due to additional hours worked. Pay rate will be determined for aproject and will remain at said rate regardless of hours worked. Assignment to Home Office work will havea different pay rate than rate established for field assignments.Payable Bonus options can be achieved based on exceeding profit margins for projects.Work Schedule: Varies by location. Must have open availability any time, any day of the week.Essential Skills (may include but are not limited to the ability to)Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs.Oversee total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance withdesign, budget and schedule.Provide direction to planning constructability, building work packages and scheduling efforts.Plan, coordinate and/or supervise construction activities of all superintendents on assignedprojects.Interact with customer.Provide leadership to site team and efficiently coordinate any subcontractors at the same time onthe same site.Authorize/approve project personnel transactions including hiring, transfers, training,wages, etc. through effective management of project superintendents.Interface with Project Manager, Engineering staff, Subcontractors, client representatives(including 3rd party inspections), to ensure all company, client, and project policies andprocedures are adhered to.Work with in precise limits and standards of accuracyFollow oral and written directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Director ofConstruction.Work within company policy as outlined in the Samuel EPC Exempt Employee Handbook,compliant with the Samuel EPC Human Resources Policy Manual, and with the Samuel EPC SafetyManual and OSHA Safety rules.Essential QualificationsTen (10) years of formal training and experience in heavy industrial projects such asrefineries, petro-chemical complexes, power plants, etc.Possess excellent leadership skills and have the ability to effectively manage employees,budgets, and construction schedules.Knowledgeable of current construction technology such as Primavera P6, MicrosoftWord, Excel and PDF modification program such as Bluebeam or Adobe.Ability to effectively interact with employees, clients, and subcontractors.Familiar with construction methods, techniques, and labor requirements and how theyapply to industrial construction projects.Previous hands-on Project Superintendent experience.Ability to work with others to develop a team atmosphere and achieve job goals.Physical RequirementsStand or walk for long periods of timeUse arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objectsLift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50pounds with assistanceClimb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects while carrying tools and equipmentStoop, kneel, crouch and crawlSee well (naturally or with correction)Eye-hand coordinationGood physical fitnessGood sense of balanceWork at great heightsTool RequirementsNone Job Posted by ApplicantPro
