If you're detail-oriented, have ERP system knowledge, and thrive in a dynamic environment, apply today!Purchasing ManagerLocation: Lincoln, NEType: Direct HireShift: Day Shift (Monday through Friday) This job will have the following responsibilities: Oversee the daily workflow of the purchasing department.Forecast material requirements for supply orders and ensure optimal inventory levels.Maintain and implement all purchasing databases and recordkeeping requirements.Collaborate with suppliers and other departments to arrange special deliveries.Monitor delivery of purchase orders.Negotiate and place orders, handle quality issues, and follow up on procurement activities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Preferred Qualifications: A 4-year college degree (although not limited to this) is preferred. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred), but not limited tooProven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Proficiency in using ERP systems.Must have previously worked in a manufacturing/ distribution environment Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
