Duties in this diverse role include; Buying, predominantly electronic componentsDeveloping Standard Operating ProceduresTake responsibility for contracts with both existing and new suppliersSupervise two Purchasing Assistants The CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will be a talented buying/procurement professional with experience, preferably within a similar environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will be a flexible purchaser/buyer possessing a wide range of skill including; Experience in buying/purchasing within manufacturingStrong sourcing ability Good relevant experience : ideally CIPS (or working towards) Excellent negotiating skills Strong communication skills IT literate (Microsoft Office), with good Excel MRP/ERP knowledge A strong team player Salary: c.
