Your Role and Responsibilities Job Purpose: The Purchasing / Inventory Coordinator is responsible for assisting in purchasing, receiving for day to day operations, collect data and identify cost savings. Responsibilities: Prepare and issue request for quote Prepare Purchase orders to support production service Maintain Blanket Purchase Orders for assigned commodities Maintain Necessary inventory levels of manufacturing supplies to support production Responsible for receiving, identifying, and storing inventory related to production consumables Familiarity with Marwood assembly process including Projection welding, Spot welding and GMAW Assist in the selection of suppliers, review supplier quality and delivery performance Be familiar with and properly utilize all customer portals and/or applications that are relevant to executing this role effectively. Travel between Marwood plants and rental properties (Personal vehicle) Prepare purchasing summary reports and Identify cost savings initiatives Spare part and inventory tracking Daily communication with Marwood team members and vendors Set up and.
