Following continued demand of their products & services, this employer has created an excellent opportunity for an Purchasing Assistant to join their team on an initial contract basis for 6 months this could be offered as permanent, but this is not guaranteed. This Purchasing Assistant is based in Aberdeen, meaning that the successful individual will easily be able to surrounding towns & cities including Inverurie, Ellon, Stonehaven and Banchory. Key responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant will include: • Support a team of 9 people with all purchase activities• Monitor and Expedite late purchase & work orders• Assist inventory control, when required , with any queries in good receiving• Achieve target On-time delivery and Lead-time and inventory turn levels based on manufacturing and supply chain capacity/flexibility For the Purchasing Assistant, we are keen to receive application from individuals who possess: HNC in business or Manufacturing related Subjects desirable but not essential Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or related Discipline desirable but not essential Working Knowledge of a manufacturing environment, inventory.
