The Buyer will be involved in the procurement of materials and services including, but not limited to: Purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization Qualifying vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services Tracking purchases, expediting as necessary Monitoring vendor quality and providing input to the supplier evaluation system Position Requirements Bachelor's degree 2+ years of purchasing experience Solid written and verbal (English) communication skills Strong negotiation skills Solid knowledge of commonly used procurement concepts, practices and procedures Excellent organizational skills Experience with ERP systems, Sage 100 is preferred Very high proficiency with Microsoft Excel US Citizenship required How to Apply Interested applicants should apply via our career portal at: Mainstream Engineering Corporation is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
