Utilize knowledge of suppliers and market to obtain highest quality LED Construction Lighting products at the lowest prices. Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for LED Construction Lighting products. Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers of LED Construction Lighting products. Research & evaluate LED Construction Lighting product suppliers, based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, distribution capabilities, as well as the reputation and history of suppliers. Liaise with suppliers to resolve disputes regarding any unacceptable LED Construction Lighting products received from them. Evaluate & monitor performance of suppliers to ensure contractual obligations are met, making changes where necessary. Monitor shipments to ensure timely arrival of LED Construction Lighting products, liaising with suppliers to resolve any issues. Monitor demand for LED Construction Lighting products and develop strategic buying programs accordingly. Maintain inventory of current stock of LED Construction Lighting products. Write and review LED Construction Lighting product specifications, maintaining a working knowledge of the variety and choice of U.K. foods and groceries to be purchased. Review industry periodicals, directories, trade journals, and websites to locate specific LED Construction Lighting products. Monitor changes affecting supply and demand, market conditions & price trends for LED Construction Lighting products. Arrange the payment of duty and freight charges. Develop, maintain, update & review database of LED Construction Lighting products purchased including costs, deliveries & inventories.
