About job: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials necessary for our railing projects. As a Purchase Manager, you will collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and project managers to maintain inventory levels, negotiate pricing, and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Job Duties: Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials at competitive prices Develop purchasing policies and procedures and control purchasing department budget Negotiate and establish favorable terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new partnerships Oversee the procurement process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment Work closely with project managers to understand material requirements for upcoming projects Monitor inventory levels and track usage to prevent shortages or overstock situations Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements as needed Streamline the purchasing process to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Review and process claims against suppliers Other duties as assigned.
