JOB TITLE: Psychologist STATUS: Part-Time or Full-time Employment PROGRAMS: Mental Health backssment & Treatment Services (In Focus) LOCATIONS: Calgary/ Edmonton- Virtual Services SUMMARY Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Psychologist is responsible for individual psychological treatment/counselling sessions within the context of the Mental Health backssment and Treatment Services. STANDARDS OF PRACTICE All Registered Psychologists comply with the ethical and professional standards as outlined by the College of Psychologists of Alberta. Registered Psychologists also comply with Back in Motion’s Code of Ethical Conduct. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides education classes on a variety of subjects relevant to the Mental Health backssment and Treatment Services. Provides short-term, one-on-one psychological support and/or treatment to the Mental Health backssment and Treatment Services; this may include provision of empirically validated psychological treatment (such as Cognitive Behavioural Treatment); Provides time-limited, empirically validated psychological treatment (such.
