Proposal Manager

This position is Remote, can be based anywhere within USA. Axiom is currently seeking a Proposal Manager/Writer to perform and manage all phases of the proposal development process in response to U.S. government requests for proposals (RFP). The Proposal Manager/Writer will assist in the identification of proposal opportunities; manage all aspects of proposal preparation, revision, and submission; and coordinate inputs from the technical team, management and finance departments. This individual will be required to work closely with members of the Axiom's and client's teams, including but not limited to subject matter experts, developers, and project managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for all bids and proposals, including RFI's, RFQ's, RFP's (RFx's), and a variety of informal requests for product and project information Collects and incorporates all technical, management, and pricing content in accordance with established formats and approved schedules Organizes and leads bid review meetings, including bid/no-bid, and ensures winning strategies are established and clearly conveyed during proposal development Schedules reports on proposal activities to the business development team and executive leadership Manages and schedules resources, project timelines, and production efforts to ensure timely support on proposal responses and partnership needs Consults with technical, capture, pricing, and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure strategic presentation and flow of content to maximize win probability Establishes proposal best practices and policies Supports writing and editing for RFIs, white papers and proposals Assists in the analysis of proposal outcomes Helps identify potential partners and coordinates data calls Assists in researching business opportunities via online search tools and web sites Helps maintain the overall business opportunity pipeline Refines and manages SharePoint site for proposal status tracking and placement of proposal artifacts Qualifications: Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, preferable experience in preparation of government proposals and grants Knowledge of government contract types, GSA and FAR preferred Extensive understanding of capture plans and proposal process Certified proposal training is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office suite such as Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and MS Teams Expert at delivering high-quality management and technical proposal volumes Ability to work with executive leadership throughout the proposal process Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience 5+ years' experience in proposal development preferable specializing in US federal government contracts Additional Desired Skills/Requirements: Excellent understanding of government contract laws and regulations is preferred Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions, manages workloads, and meets deadlines independently A track record of successfully managing high-visibility and complex Federal proposals The ability to assist in the development of win strategies The candidate should also possess strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills, and be a team player The successful candidate will also be able to pass background screening prior to employment US Citizenship or work-authorization Job Posted by ApplicantPro
