Property Manager/Community Manager Smart Apartment Solutions is seeking an experienced property manager for an opportunity in the property management industry located in the South Loop area.As the Property Manager, you will help supervise and help oversee the day-to-day operations of the community. You will be responsible for the overall well-being and productivity of the community and office/maintenance team. This position will report to the regional manager and requires leadership and team management experience.Work hours? Saturdays and or Sundays/holidaysJob Responsibilities Include:Work with prospective and current residents to resolve concerns and ensure customer satisfactionCoordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategiesPlan yearly budget, code and pay invoices, and complete monthly reportsEnsure sales and maintenance teams meet their necessary goalsPost rents and follow the eviction and move-out processesAchieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residentsMust Have’s:Certifications requiredMinimum of 2 years property management experienceConflict management experience (years)Customer Service Experience/years/backgroundAbility to work weekendsStrong marketing and sales skillsProperty management software knowledge such as Yardi, OneSite, and BlueMoonStrong work ethic with reliability and dependabilityEnjoy working with others and taking direction when neededMaintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers, vendors, and customersNice to Have’s:Bachelor’s Degree/Associates/high school?CertificationSection 8 experience?Section 42 experience?From other Job Ads:Hires, terminates, supervises, coaches, and conducts disciplinary actions as neededEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsTour units with prospective tenants and track leasing prospectsRent Discount/Other benefitsBonus’
