Property Management Client Accountant - £50,000 + Hybrid Working – City of London, EC2R My client is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and property consultants specialising in the London property market. They have built up an enviable reputation of providing both professional, commercial and management advice, to occupiers and owners across Central London. They are on the search for an experienced Client Accountant to join them at their office in the heart of the City of London. Duties Arrears chasing. Raising tenant’s monthly & quarterly rent & service charge demands. Processing supplier invoices and processing supplier payments on Qube. Raising management fee invoices. Dealing with client & tenant queries. Preparing monthly bank reconciliations to industry standard. Entering new budgets on to QUBE. Processing journal entries. Updating tenant charges. Raising balancing service charge on tenants account. Preparing monthly & quarterly VAT reports. Reporting VAT direct to HMRC using ‘make tax digital’. Preparing handover document and notes. Preparing clients monthly & quarterly rent and service charge reports. Preparing client rent pay overs using our Nat West banking system. Prepare monthly and quarterly utility recharges. Prepare annual insurance recharges. Drafting service charge reconciliations in line with industry practice. Preparing final invoices, credits and Landlord charges. Closing service charge and ensuring adherence to the RICS service charge code. End of year housekeeping duties on Qube system. Liaising with Building Managers for budgeting and year end.
