Job Summary: The Property Good Hands Repair Network Inside Technician is responsible for providing coaching and oversight to adjusters regarding use of and payments to general contractors and Allstate's preferred vendors via the Good Hands Repair Network and Alacrity. The individual reviews, analyzes, and processes mitigation and general contractor bills for payment. Notice of Licensing Requirement: As a condition of employment, you will be required to have an adjuster and/or an appraiser license. Key Responsibilities: Analyzes restoration and mitigation bills to assess appropriateness of charges and detect duplicate billings Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process Develops, manages, and audits relationships with general contractors and mitigation vendors in the Allstate preferred vendor network and Alacrity Reinspects or reviews vendor repair estimates as needed; makes corrections and repair recommendations, and corrects estimate Analyzes usage of vendors and recommends ways to improve usage and vendor partnerships Monitors network utilization and identifies potential need for expanded or new networks Offers settlement guidance to adjusters when negotiating and settling without of network vendors or contractors Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of related experience in construction/mitigation and/or project management Xactimate experience 4 year Bachelors Degree In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Functional Skills: Applies advanced knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation Applies advanced knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards Applies advanced knowledge of analytical procedures to reconcile, manipulate, and recognize patterns of data Applies advanced knowledge of problem-solving and preparation of complex reports for analysis Applies advanced negotiation and/or arbitration skills Applies advanced conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships Notes: The preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.
