The job involves: Developing, planning and executing tournaments, promotions and special events Participating in all areas of décor/event set ups and pre/post production work including set up and tear down of materials Planning and executing of promotions, events, slot and table tournaments Performing office duties related to rules submissions, regulatory submissions, internal control procedures, communication pieces to departments, information released to Associates handling requests for information Meeting or exceeding tight deadlines, excellent multi-tasking, time management skills working with multiple demands, departments, projects and willing to accept broad challenges Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation Working independently and as one team that supports and helps one another along with other departments Proven flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, some swing and weekend shifts are required The ideal candidate has: Post Secondary Certification in Marketing (Event Planning/Special Events), or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years of extensive work experience in planning and coordinating events, tournaments and promotions in the gaming or hospitality industry Experience with catering, procurement of merchandise and services, technical production, and all pre and post production of event Visual display and decor experience Proven ability to work within a strictly regulated work environment Excellent communication and motivational skills Exceptional organizational skills,.
