CUMULUS MEDIA | Nashville, TN is offering an amazing opportunity as a PART-TIME PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING INTERN providing support to our Marketing Director and Promotions Team representing our brands. If you are 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college or trade school, and are eligible for an internship, have an outgoing personality, a passion for media, a flexible schedule, and looking to get into the media/music industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The position requires extreme reliability and flexibility. If you are a fast-learner familiar with audio equipment and automation, have a good demeanor around others, and have a passion for radio, read on. Who We Are: CUMULUS | Nashville features 5 stations in Nashville/Middle Tennessee. Our stations include: WGFX (104.5 The Zone), WWTN (SuperTalk 99.7 WTN), WSM-FM (95.5 Nash Icon), WKDF (103.3 Country), WQQK (92Q) and Titans Radio. The cluster of 5 stations reaches hundreds of thousands of listeners on a daily basis. In addition, we reach the entire country with a suite of digital products. Key Responsibilities: Promotions interns will be organized, detail-oriented, motivated self-starters looking to gain hands-on experience in the radio industry. Daily responsibilities include, and may not be limited to: * Handling listener relations by contacting prize winners * Maintaining a prize winner database * Assembly and execution of contests and winner selection * Organizing and filing prize winner information * Writing copy and performing web updates * Assisting the street team at station events and appearances in the Middle Tennessee Area * Assisting with compiling of client recaps * Some graphic design * Event preparation and some event coordination Qualifications: * No experience necessary, however Customer Service experience helpful * Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college or trade school, and eligible for/enrolled in their internship program * Must have valid driver license and clean driving record * Reliable; have a flexible schedule and be available to work at least 15 hours per week * May require lifting or moving up to 75 pounds * Must be able to stand for extended periods of time * Outgoing, energetic, detail-orientated and responsible * Proficient using computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint * Multi-tasking abilities * Event experience a plus * Strong Social Media skills with sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Social Bakers preferred
