Midas Construction is building great communities in which we live and work, and we're growing in Indianapolis! We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team. The position will be instrumental in our continued growth and success. Why Midas Construction? High-profile exciting projects ranging from $30-80MM+ NO TRAVEL (3 years of backlog work - all local STL) Project teams on site Competitive base, above industry standard project bonus, and profit sharing People you want to work with who have your back Owners care about subcontractor relationships Employee FIRST organization Part of a larger enterprise What you'll be doing: Leadership & Team Management: Coordinate and delegate tasks to the project operations team, which includes assistant project managers, project coordinators, and the general superintendent. Project Planning & Coordination: Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including bidding, hiring of subcontractors, working with owners, architects, and vendors. Solicit and obtain bids, identifying qualified subcontractors. Negotiate price and scope. Perform post-bid subcontractor buyout. Draft subcontractor agreements and purchase orders. Project Oversight: Provide support to the operations team to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met or exceeded. Prepare cash flow projections and ensure accurate job forecasting. Coordinate site visits with the Superintendent and monitor construction progress on a regular basis. Coordinate with all state, county, and city municipalities. Travel will be required. Relationship Development: In all communication, develop strong relationships with the Midas Construction team, including staff, clients, sub-contractors, and more. Build trust throughout these interactions while exceeding client and team satisfaction. What we're looking for: 3+ years in a construction project management position with general contractor Large ground-up experience $20MM+, hospitality & multifamily preferred Construction/Engineering related bachelor's degree Experience with the regional St. Louis construction industry Ability to lead a team of direct reports Bright, self-starter with high attention to detail Familiarity with project management and accounting software Exceptional work ethic and a desire to complete tasks on schedule with excellence Flexible and willing to make difficult decisions Individuals with a great reputation of being great to work with We offer a range of benefits including, but not limited to: Growth and development tools and access to learning Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage 401k matching Employee Assistance Program Discounted products and services Midas Construction is a leading commercial construction company based in St. Louis, MO with intentional grow in the Indianapolis market.
