Project Engineer - Switchgear My client is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their busy team of skilled engineers working in the Switchgear Industry The.Project Engineer - Switchgear My client is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their busy team of skilled engineers working in the Switchgear Industry The Company My client provides Low Voltage Switchgear solutions for commercial, industrial and service applications into a number of sectors throughout the UK Key Responsibilities The following list is an indication of roles and responsibilities you will be expected to undertake as the Project Engineer. The list is not exhaustive and intended as guidance only, but in general you will: - Produce accurate manufacturing information to shop floor including General Arrangement Drawings and Electrical Schematics using Auto Cad. - Manage the day-to-day running of several projects at a time. - Work with the Production and Test Team to ensure satisfactory delivery date is met. - Produce Bill of Materials for each assembly. - Communicate with clients and end-users. - Assist with Factory Acceptance tests. - Interpret clients requirements based on single line diagrams and/or Specifications. - Ensure finished product meets the requirements of BS EN IEC 61439-2. - Provide Technical support to the Sales Team. The Right Person The successful Project Engineer ideally will Have a NVQ level 3 or HNC/D or several years of experience within the LV Switchgear and/or Controlgear industry and possess the following skills - Experience working as a Projects or Contract Engineer within a Switchgear business - Experience production Electrical Schematics using Auto CAD - Experience working to BS EN IEC 61439-2 - Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills. With the ability to flexibly and proactively manage changing priorities and work to tight timescales. - Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively on own initiative as.
