Description:
Primary Function of Position: Santa Fe Winwater provides Engineering services for Water Treatment Facilities throughout the US. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the completion of a project from start to finish, from the designing phase to manufacturing to actual delivery of the Water treatment system. Roles and Responsibilities: Create and Layout ASME Piping Designs and Drawings for Fabrication. Monitor Project Schedules and Budgets. Interface with Customers and provide technical assistance (Product Submittals, Requests for More Information, and Design Clarifications). Perform industrial take-offs (Bill of Materials) for material purchasing. Generate engineering submittal in compliance with plans & specifications. Review the project's plan and specs to design pipe spools system. Communicating with jobsite project manager, vendors, suppliers, etc. Adhere to customer schedule to complete the project on timely manner. Work with fabricator and technician to fabricate spools. Trouble shooting problems on project site. Perform Quality Control/Quality Assurance. Qualification: Minimum Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a degree in a related discipline required. Minimum 1 years of experience working in the Water Treatment or Construction industry. Computer proficient, including Microsoft Office products. Proficient with SolidWorks. Understand basic manufacturing process such as welding. Good communication and documentation skills. Comfortably working on a project solo. Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
