Job Summary The team working on Zero Emissions vehicles is looking for a collaborative and driven engineer with a focus on research and advanced product development. Our project goal is to conceptualize an adaptable electric-powered platform for the global truck markets that will enable the proliferation and profitability of clean energy transportation solutions. The Zero Emissions team works closely with Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF divisions and drives global product development activities. This project focuses on the future architecture of trucks and provides opportunities for creative problem-solving and exploration. As a member of the team, you will have input on the direction of the program and the opportunity to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in creating a path to a cleaner, sustainable future. Job Functions / Responsibilities Develop efficient and cost-effective solutions for an electric vehicle platform. Conceptualize packaging of complex systems to achieve excellent space utilization and flexibility. Develop an understanding of technology trends, how those trends will affect vehicle design, and choose the optimal solutions for future vehicles. Develop concepts into detailed CAD assemblies utilizing Creo software. Collaborate with other team members, departments, major divisions of PACCAR, and suppliers to successfully develop and implement new layouts. Be able to travel
