About this role We are recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join our Electrical Service team, based in the Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. Your responsibilities Assist Project Managers with a variety of administrative tasks that may include: job binders, setup of job in paper flow system, permits, manuals, tender forms & any other duties to help paper flow and job organization Organize and track shop drawings, distributing as needed Data entry and updating systems with information from PM's Update the project drawings, purchase orders and job schedule with the change orders Price, extend, confirm hours submitted and data entry as required for extra work orders Make sure the site has all the latest specs, drawings, shop drawings, change orders, schedules Track shipments for orders, track backorders, and keep on top of suppliers for delivery of materials Attend site meetings and site walks to record and produce minutes Print and circulate a variety of reports associated to the project Your experience and skills Experience in project coordination, administration or office related position within the construction or related field High proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Auto CAD, Accubid, MS Project, are an asset Experience managing document control, file mgmt, scheduling, data entry, minute taking, etc. Highly organized and high attention to detail Must be team player with good interpersonal and English communication skills Ability to read electrical and/or construction drawings, an asset Electrical engineering degree, diploma, relevant education or Electrician TQ considered.
