Position Overview: GES is seeking a mid-level Project Controls Engineer to track, monitor, and report on schedules and budgets for our environmental remediation projects. The person selected for this role will have strong scheduling and cost analysis/forecasting experience and be able to effectively support multiple T&M, firm fixed price, and or cost-plus projects. Duties & Responsibilities: Proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecasted costs, labor hours, and vendor quantities for multiple projects Maintain and trend historical cost data from actual hours, costs, and pricing. Monitor subcontractor costs and anticipate potential change orders Maintain monthly cost accruals Collect and input timely and accurate cost data for cost report development. Identify and document specific areas of project risk and opportunities, and their effect on cost and schedule Implement change control procedures. Support the project team with change identification, documentation, schedule fragnets, and cost impacts. Prepare of cost and schedule backup for project modifications and requests for equitable adjustment. Provide consistency between the project estimate, work breakdown structure, and project schedule. Be familiar with the development and application of indirect and overhead rates to cost. Work with project team to develop accurate and timely project cost forecasts Identify and define factors that influence project-specific cash flow. Consolidate performance data to support performance measurement, data analysis, and cost forecasting. Lead the development, progressing and monitoring of project schedules and provide analysis of the critical path. Perform schedule risk analysis to help forecast schedule contingencies and related cost impacts Assist with schedule and estimate development for task order and IDIQ proposals. Support monthly client reporting and invoicing.
