This position is 100% remote with the option of working in one of our local offices, if desired. Learn more about the projects you will have the opportunity to shape. Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below): Be a resource and assist the Project Accounting Supervisor in the management of assigned projects for the entire life cycle of the project Assist with the creation of new projects in Deltek Vision Review project labor and expense postings to ensure accurate posting to projects; transfer postings as directed by Project Managers Process project related AP Prepare and process monthly invoices in accordance with the terms of the contract; work closely with Project Accounting Supervisor to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent project billing Prepare project specific reports / spreadsheets / supplemental invoice documentation per client requirements Follow through on all billing related issues to resolution; exercise judgement on when to escalate issues to supervisor Respond to client, vendor, or staff inquiries in a timely fashion Prepare monthly WIP reports and work closely with Project Managers to ensure WIP is billed timely Run project related reports in Deltek Vision Assist with project audits as needed Assist the team with ad-hoc projects / analyses as needed Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct; support the team culture of inclusivity, trust, respect, and personal responsibility Minimum Requirements College degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a customer service mindset Well organized, detail-oriented, and excellent follow through Ability to think critically and problem solve Highly motivated to progress to the next level Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed Advanced skills in MS Office, specifically Excel Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment * As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check. Preferred Qualifications Deltek Vision experience a plus Ability to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements Working Conditions: This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. Will occasionally require fieldwork that can include workdays over 8 hours long. This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting. This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Proposed Salary Range: $26.44-$35.05 hourly* *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
