Position Title: Programmer Position Type: Regular - Full-Time Position Location: Coaldale Grade: 15 Requisition ID: 27029 Full Position Title : Maintenance Packaging Panner & SAP Super User Summary : Responsible for effectively planning the maintenance work needed in the Packaging and Palletizing areas and responsible for setting up bill of materials and maintenance standard/recurrent tasks in SAP, reporting to the Maintenance Packaging Supervisor. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Follows the latest Mc Cain Maintenance Planning and Scheduling playbook designed to make maintenance workflow effective and efficient. Turns Notifications into WOs (exception might be for specialized electrical work depending on scope – in which case lead would Turn Notification to WO) and in discussion with Leads, ensure correct Priority for jobs. Create & Update Standard Tasks in SAP (CIs, PMs, Pd Ms) Identifies Required Materials, get quotes and order specialized parts on WO. Identifies timeframe and Resources Required for task. Optimizes the use of key resources: labor, time and budget when planning maintenance work. Puts Revision on WO based on when parts will arrive (as required) Validates fully kitted parts are correct, of the right quantity and no items are missing and turn WOs into Ready to Schedule Status Collect & Action Feedback from Work done. Update BOMs as required. Train & Educate Others on Maintenance Tasks Continually Optimize & Improve Maintenance Tasks Plan & Adhere to H&S Requirements Integrate maintenance workflow into any technological platform provided by the company. Able to relieve the mechanical planner if required. Scheduling Contractors. Other Duties as Assigned. Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies) Licensed Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright is preferred. Previous Packaging maintenance experience is considered an asset.
