Job Purpose The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects with achieving financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role will support both production and design and development projects with an emphasis on bothshort-term and long-term strategies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute and monitor project activities. Regularly present program updates/status to high-level executives both internal and external to the organization. Manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule of project work. Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple projects. Prepare and update project plans and status reports. Provide updates on customer and corporate issues. Participate in strategic business meetings to balance requirements across multiple customers. Coordinate cross-functional meetings of personnel related to assigned project. Cultivate a team-based culture leading to effective integrated product teams. Facilitate sessions to resolve issues as they arise. Utilize corporate processes to track project schedules, cost, and risk. Report status, develop project-related documentation, and implement lessons learned. Participate in project performance reviews and discussions. Participate in corporate business development activities. Update and maintain production and quality metrics of projects. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requirements Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training. At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Government Contract Administration or related experience. Ability to read, write, and understand English and be comfortable presenting to audiences up to 20 people both virtually and in person. Comfortable with general accounting principles and earned value management. Able to examine requirements and understand the underlying request as it relates to the project. Experienced in mediation of conflict and finding win-win solution spaces for both internal and external stakeholders. Experienced and comfortable with M.S. Office and Project applications. PMP (preferred) Excellent organizational and reporting skills Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines Excellent technical writing skills Less than 25% travel All positions at EnerSys Advanced Systems require access to information, or technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and other US government security regulations.
