General Statement of Duties - Ensure compliance to 2009 Head Start ActDuties and Responsibilities include the following:Essential Duties Are:- 1302 Program Operations Subpart A- Determine child eligibility- Develop and implement recruitment of children/families- Establish formal process for selection criteria- Maintain funded enrollment level- Monitor and analyze attendance and patterns of absenteeism- Assist in providing comprehensive child development services- Implement, supervise and monitor pregnant women home based program option- Implementation of EHS/HS/CCP grant requirements for Family Partnerships, Health Services and ERSEA- Supervise and monitor nurse regarding child health and development- Supervise, monitor, and lead staff in implementation of program goals and objectives in all aspects of Family Partnership Services, Health Services and ERSEA- Coordinate transportation and community services for families- Communicate with Governing Body and Policy Council to share information regarding decisions concerning program operations- Train and mentor ECE staff concerning Family Partnerships, Health Services and ERSEA- Full knowledge and understanding of all regulations regarding Family Partnerships, Health Services and ERSEAOther Duties: - Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: - Family Partners - EHS/HS/EHSCCP NurseEducation and Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field- Credential in Basic Family Services/Development (prebirth - age 5)- Credential in Basic Health Services (prebirth - age 5)- Certified Colorado Director for Large Child Care Center RequiredContact Hours: - 40 hours per week - 52 weeks per year (excluding earned discretionary/vacation days and 6 holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)Salary: - $42,000 per year (depending on education and experience), plus benefits recblid vhmb1d0s1opsx9ofuq0mordoqxka45
