The ideal candidate will be keenly interested in various Professional Liability areas, including attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and architect and engineer errors and omissions. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on issues related to Professional Liability cases.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Assist in the preparation and management of litigation cases.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders professionally.Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on Professional Liability matters.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar.2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in Professional Liability.Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar.Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysis.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.Familiarity with relevant software and case management tools. This large East Coast firm of 300-plus lawyers has offices in five states. It specializes in defense litigation that involves I/P, commercial, mergers acquisitions and other types of business work. The Florida office reflects the aggressive focus of the other offices but offers as well a friendly, relaxed environment. Pay scales are competitive for the region.
