We are looking for a motivated and licensed Land Surveyor who has experience applying land surveying principles, concepts and practices in broad disciplines to join our team in our Champaign, Illinois, office. We are interested in talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about providing personalized attention to our clients. What you'll do You will make decisions independently on surveying problems and methods and represent the firm in meetings to answer questions and plan and coordinate work. Be prepared to determine technical approaches and develop or improve techniques and procedures to complete survey-related projects. You'll provide technical leadership for firmwide survey work and lead field crew. We'll also look to you to flex your problem-solving skills to help our clients. While you'll spend most of your time in the office, you should be OK with traveling to project sites no matter the weather. We promote a team environment, so you'll learn from fellow land surveyors, field technicians, engineers, environmental scientists and project managers. An d y ou'll develop leadership skills that build autonomy. What it takes A bachelor's degree in Surveying or relevant field is required. We're looking for someone with at least six years of experience who is licensed in Illinois. You should speak and write well. And you should have strong analytical and organizational skills.
