Job Description We are currently seeking production workers at our Vandergrift Operations. Job responsibilities include operating equipment and performing tasks such as operating labor, general labor and light mobile equipment operation as required to support and maintain plant operations. This position also supports and assists in maintenance activities. Essential Functions: Operate both small and large mobile equipmentOperate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cabWork with a team in the various facilities to produce world class plate products. Some tasks require routine interaction with computer interfacesAssist and support routine maintenance activitiesStatusFull-timeWork ArrangementOnsiteRequirementsBasic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent & one or more years of experience in manufacturing, farming, military, or other industrial environment.OR Vo-Tech Certificate or Associate Degree in electrical, mechanical or other related curriculum.Successful candidates should also have the ability to: Work shifts, weekends, and overtime in an industrial environment.Demonstrated ability to work safely as a team member.Complete a computerized tests to verify reading, math and problem solving skills.
