Description:
Entry-level production work including sorting and sanitation. If an absence in this position occurs, the Level 1 production employee, or designated employee, assumes the duties and responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities SORTER: Hand sort foreign material and other undesirable defects to meet customer required specifications by means of conveyor belt or table. SANITATION: Cleaning and sanitizing of machinery and sorting equipment in production areas on a regular basis. The ability to operate in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. BIN REPAIR: Responsible for repairing, cleaning, and fumigating bins. Responsible for upholding all Food Safety, Quality, & People Safety policies and regulations. Build fiber bins. Maintain and adhere to SQF certification, HACCP processes. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety practices. Wears all required safety equipment and works in a safe and accident free manner. Follows all LOTO policies and procedures. Performs other duties assigned by Management.
