Our Client Is Currently Hiring For A Highly Skilled Production Supervisor Candidates Must Be Local To Bethlehem Area. PRODUCTION SUPERVISORStatus- Direct Hire Degree- N/AShift- Days But Most Be Open To OT & Some Saturdays Experience - Strong Leadership & Supervision Experience, 4+ Years In A Supervisor Role, Previous Manufacturing Experience, Lean Six Sigma, Team Development Experience This job will have the following responsibilities: Basic professional knowledge. Applies knowledge, skills, policies, and procedures to resolve routine issues.Managers have basic managerial skills such as performance management, employment practices, and team building in overseeing support staff.Primary accountability for the performance of: Function within a business unit and/or own work.Confers with engineering and maintenance in coordination of repairs and modifications to demonstrate ownership of the assigned areas of the factoryEnsure products are produced in compliance with quality key check points and within "Good Manufacturing Practices"Counsel employees on behavior/performance issues and initiate disciplinary action as required.Assure that appropriate equipment is provided, adequately maintained, and safely operated. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or relevant field of technical or business education Technical knowledge in the following areas: machinery, tools, foundry specific equipment. Knowledge of EEO, OSHA, and other Federal and State laws. Understanding of production scheduling and product flow Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power PointLocal Candidates Only
