This position will learn at least 2 positions within production. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter * Must learn to operate multiple machines and positions within the production area. * Provide coverage to other operators within the production area, such as the DMC, RMC, Cheesemaker and VAT Helper). * Ability to follow standard operating procedures in detail without deviation. * Must be able to troubleshoot equipment shortfalls/failures, and repair tasks that may not require Maintenance Department. * Understand and perform CIP on all equipment and clean up as needed. * Check acids and PH levels. * The ability to work effectively under pressure is critical to this position. * Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be productive in high pressure, fast paced situations. * Neatly accurately and legibly maintain all records and documentation. * Monitor machine and product temperatures to ensure product is at the correct temperature. * Pull product samples from machine and provide to the lab. * Follow all established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Responsible for maintaining food safety and quality. * Other duties as assigned.You Are Best Suited For The Role If You.... * Previous production machine operating work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing industry preferred but not required. * Ability to test and pass a State Pasteurizer license. Must obtain licenses within 3 months of being placed in position. * Must possess a strong work character and have the ability to work in a team environment. * Must possess a strong work ethic and passion for the job. * Ability to multi-task and follow instructions. * Must be self-motivated and self-directed to support complex operations. * Critical thinking and ability to analyze data and situations is a must.
