For more information, please visit our website at www.sunchemical.com or connect with us on LinkedIn or Twitter Functions/Responsibilities: JobTitle: Production Operator Location: Menasha, WI Shifts: 4a, 6a and 7a start times. 8 Hour shift Responsibilities Review batch tickets – Read, understand and follow. Provide samples to lab. Pack and label product into proper containers Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities. Care of equipment and facility materials Operate Forklift SAP inventory look-up and SAP duties Tub washer. Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation) Operate dust collector equipment. Participate on plant teams. and assist in training others Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers. Ingredient traceability. Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment. Preliminary quality checks. Fill-in for shipping and receiving positions. Press out units and trouble shooting. Canning line operation. Three roller mill operation and trouble shooting. In-plant fill-in. (Ink blending) Dispenser operation and trouble shooting. Kady mill, Horizontal mill & Specialty large tank operation and trouble shooting. Operation of equipment with an inerting system. Wear appropriate PPE at all times & maintain a clean work area and work safely. Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessions. ISO - Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties & stays updated on all applicable procedures. Education and Experience High School diploma/GED Computer efficiency required. Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety. Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communication skills. Plus Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is helpful.
