Earn while you learn valuable manufacturing trade skills.Schaeffer Industries, located in Lindon, Utah, has an amazing opportunity for qualified individuals to learn from and assist seasoned managers utilizing machinery to produce structural steel pipe and tube, and other steel roll-formed products. Successful applicants will work in an industrial facility and learn, with hands-on-training, how to safely and effectively operate metalworking line stations and run related equipment such as cranes and forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products. Instruction levels will increase with proficiency to provide enhanced manufacturing abilities and job growth.Ideally, applicants should possess mechanical and mathematical aptitude. Previous experience operating machinery is preferred but not required. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 75 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required.Work hours are 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, adjusted to accommodate production needs.This a great opportunity to start a long-term career with a highly reputable company.
