Greenwich St. Jewelers is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for supporting the Production Director with gemstone sourcing, jewelry production and repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with strong gemological experience. This role is an integral part of our team and involves communication with all G.St departments and external vendors. Key responsibilities are: Facilitate the processing and completion of all custom orders and repairs Review completed projects to ensure they meet G.St quality control standards Monitor due dates to ensure timelines are met Support the Production Director with gemstone sourcing, verification and processing Use gemological expertise to identify and value items Monitor margins and prepare reports for buyers Requirements: Bachelor's Degree Graduate Gemologist degree with the ability to independently grade and value gemstones and diamonds Previous experience within a similar role Strong understanding of fine jewelry repair, construction and standards with an eye for quality control Familiar with CAD (to evaluate, not create) Proactive personality with a positive and solutions-oriented mentality Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-player with a desire to forge relationships with team members Outstanding client service and communication skills Excellent computer skills recblid fe5cfca43ujwatx6yr4m7kwovmdvnu BA/BS/Undergraduate
