DecoPac, Inc. is a high growth, high-energy company that designs, markets and distributes the most popular cake decorations and bakery supplies in the bakery industry. Located in the greater Minneapolis area we sell and distribute our products to supermarkets, mass and club retailers, independent retail bakeries, ice cream and doughnut stores, as well as directly to consumers throughout North America and Europe. Summary: The Product Manager is responsible to support and drive DecoPac's go-to market strategies for its product solutions and services that focus on innovation, quality and market demand to achieve business growth. The Product Manager will be an integral part of the team, determining the company's efforts regarding product lifecycle management, new business development, market insight, competitive positioning, marketing strategy development and sales support. Responsibilities : Lead product line strategy and tactical planning efforts for assigned products, programs and formats through their full lifecycle (inception to end of life) in order to achieve business goals. Understand and utilize market insight, data analytics and trends to guide strategies and program direction. Manage and drive assigned product line development to support the needs of DecoPac's customers. Develop and lead program execution planning and delivery with cross-functional business partners including Design, Marketing, Sales, Procurement and Digital. Develop and refine product positioning and messaging strategy for both existing and future products within focused business areas. Execute product lifecycle management strategies and associated processes for assigned product lines. Participate in the development and execution of DecoPac's marketing strategy and branding plan. Provide expertise in product knowledge, competitive landscape, customer path-to-purchase, product/service innovation, gap analysis and market insight to support business plans and provide the tools to support sales growth. Demonstrate exceptional leadership and collaboration skills with cross functional partners. Measure and report effectiveness of products and services to develop long-term product strategies. Be open and willing to drive continuous improvement. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: BA/BS in business, marketing or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years related experience. Product Management background with experience in managing product from concept through end-of-life. Broad business acumen with team leadership experience. Effective problem solving skills. Superior communication skills - written, verbal, presentation Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking ability. Ability to communicate, influence and build relationships with a cross-functional team. Experience in working with both B2B and B2C markets; experience in consumer products a plus.
