Cincinnati Test Systems (CTS), a world leader in the design and manufacture of leak test and assembly verification instrumentation with custom solutions for a wide range of manufacturing operations. CTS serves a diverse cross section of industries, in the areas of transportation, energy, medical, consumer & industrial, and many more product areas. Duties and responsibilities The Product Engineer will be responsible for the design and integration of industrial machinery and tooling into manufacturing processes. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical engineering field. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Technical Functions · Maintenance of standard design practices, standards, documentation, libraries, and software.· Executes the necessary work in the creation, evaluation, implementation and modification of standard techniques and procedures.· Works with engineering and the manufacturing team in the design, evaluation and improvement of tools, methods, and processes within the company.· Acts as a key contributor in guiding mechanical engineering on projects from concept to shipment.· Uses sound principles, theories and concepts in analyzing and solving complex engineering problems.· Remain informed of new engineering technologies related to new materials, processes, and procedures to enhance and improve CTS products.· Perform other technical functions as required or assigned.
