ENTRON manufactures electronic CPU based controls for use in automotive, appliance and industrial welding. ENTRON has manufacturing in Greer, SC, and Dudley, England, U.K.Overall, we are a small team who is able to make quick decisions and act fast to capitalize on market opportunities. There are not countless policies and levels of management to get in the way of doing what's best for our growth. Overview The position is responsible for engineering the mechanical design of weld controls in Solid works and the ERP system. The position works closely with electrical engineers to ensure the design meets industry standards and minimizes cost. Major areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: Mechanical & Electrical designs of Controls and its' sub components using SOLID WORKS Create and Manage BOM's in Epicor ERP system Create user manuals, test procedures and application notes in MS WORD Provide Technical Support to customers Support manufacturing as and when needed Job Type: Full-time Required Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferably in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering field of study Proficient in SOLID WORKS CAD Software Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to do so accurately Knowledge of ERP systems (Knowledge of Epicor ERP system a plus) Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, SQL Databases and Internet) Physical Requirements: Frequent periods of sitting or standing, Keyboard typing and reading off computer screens, working with hand tools and light machinery.
