Product AssemblerHayesville, OhioFull-time2nd shift Custom Hoists, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Product Assembler to join our dynamic team. As a Product Assembler, you will be responsible for the efficient assembly of products offered in our product line.The ideal candidate must be highly team-oriented, collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless production processes. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will conduct routine checks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain accurate records of product workflow.We value individuals who take pride in their work, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in every task they undertake. If you possess a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we welcome you to apply for this role.This position performs a combination of production tasks under the guidance of a supervisor, foreman and/or senior employee.What You'll Do: Assemble various components and sizes of cylinders to create telescopic hoistsComply and follow all safety rules and protocolsPerform quality checks and be on alert for preventative quality measuresKeep area clean and free of debris and unnecessary items on a daily basis; Leave area clean and organized at end of shiftMaintain flexibility in job assignment; Ability to flex work assignment as workflow ebbs and flowsOperate crane hoists, carts, and walk-behind lifts to transport WIPHandle fluids as instructed on labels and MSDS sheetsPerform all change-overs for tooling adjustments as required, following all safety protocolsCorrectly interpret drawing dimensions, quality specifications, and other critical features Communicate machine and tooling maintenance or performance issues to supervisor, foreman, or maintenance immediatelyAll other duties as directed by supervisor, foremen, and managementScope of duties may be adjusted as necessitated by business demands What You'll Bring: Highschool diploma or GEDAbility to stand on concrete for extended periods of timeAbility to push, pull, bend, reach and lift parts up to 50lbs.Ability to read (or learn to read) a tape measure and other measurement toolingAbility to interpret (or learn to interpret) part drawing dimensions and quality specificationsMust pass background check and have a clean drug screen What We Value: Manufacturing experience (Preferred)
