Procurement specialist with chemical background needed in Mentor immediately for a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY! The procurement manager is responsible for the following:Act as liaison between the business and strategic vendors to lead initiative and continually improve the procurement process.Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendorsNegotiating with suppliers and vendorsPreforming risk assessments on potential contracts and agreementsVendor compliance COI, W9Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers/vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditionsFleet management oversightkeep abreast of changing industry trendsMaterial ordering and job costingConduct analyses of business needs and lead the development and documentation.Preferred Qualifications:Procurement or Purchasing manager, strongly prefer the chemical industry.Procurement system experience is a plusClear understanding of the best practice Financial Controls, designing operational and implementing procurement tools.For immediate consideration, please call Courtney at 440-497-XXXX OR email:
